Our carefully curated itinerary is designed to give you a taste of Oaxaca. During the first part of the trip, you’ll cook a traditional Oaxacan meal, learn about the city’s history, discover the natural process of textile dyes, visit an archeological site, learn about the process of the less-known artisanal process of the red clay in an indigenous region, participate in an alebrije painting workshop, and visit a palenque to learn about the art of making Mezcal. And that’s just the beginning!
For those craving even more adventure, we offer an additional three-night stay along the breathtaking coast of Oaxaca, located 150 miles from the city. This extension is packed with activities that will take your breath away. You’ll release turtles into the wild, learn about the efforts of a non-profit organization conserving a local mangrove, witness one of the most beautiful sunsets in Mazunte – Pueblo Mágico, and take a boat day trip to the stunning beaches of Huatulco National Park.

- Shared accommodation for current students is $1,780
