¡Bienvenido to your first Spanish class at our school! We’re so excited to have you here as part of our community. Together, we’ll dive into this amazing language and culture, learning how to express ourselves, ask questions, and connect with others in Spanish.

Each of you brings something unique to our group, and that’s what makes this journey special. Here, we celebrate learning from mistakes, supporting each other, and growing together.

General Objectives Level A1.1

  1. Learn how to introduce yourself, how to ask questions in class, how to say hello and how to say goodbye.
  2. Pronounce some sounds in Spanish and to know some verbs and numbers. With this information you can explain your age and spell your name.
  3. Learn to express weather information and provide basic information about our personal calendar.
  4. Learn to express interests and preferences.
  5. Ask and answer questions about your family using interrogative pronouns such as “who”, “what”, “when”, “where”, “why” and “how”.
  6. Describe people, places and objects using the correct gender of nouns, the verbs “ser” and “estar”, and the definite articles.
  7. Construct simple sentences in Spanish following the correct structure: Subject + Verb + Complement.
