Join us for four days and three nights on a Spanish immersion weekend 80 miles south of the border at El Valle de Guadalupe, a.k.a Mexico’s Napa. There are over 100 vineyards scattered between the hills of Ensenada and Tecate. Some say El Valle it’s the birthplace of the Baja med culinary movement. On this one, we will have morning classes on all three days during our stay and activities planned for the afternoon. For the classes, we will have two separate groups.
Itinerary
Day 1 – Thu 10/13/22
- Meet at the pedestrian border in San Ysidro @ 3:30 pm.
- Drive to our Boutique Hotel – Casa Karlota
- Taco stop on the way.
- Meet & greet bonfire con vino :).
Day 2 – Fri 10/14/22
- Spanish class.
- Guided tour in el Museo del Vino.
- Baja med family-style lunch*.
- Wine tasting at a boutique winery.
- Vegetarian/vegan dinner.
Day 3 – Sat 10/15/22
- Spanish class.
- Learn about the craft of winemaking + wine tasting + picnic.
- Interactive wine blending workshop – learn the art and make your blend to take home.
- Family-style dinner – artisanal pizza.
Day 4 – Sun 10/16/22
- Spanish class.
- Check out & departure.
- Taco stop on the way back.

Notes
- 10% discount for current students/members – $967.50/shared accommodation & $1,156.50/single accomodation.
- Registration is all inclusive – Spanish classes, Spanish speaking tour guide, activities, transportation in MX, hotel & meals – except for one lunch on Fri 10/14*.
